We are committed to ensuring that everyone who visits the Assembly Festival Garden is made welcome and enjoys their time with us.
Our venue
The Assembly Festival Garden is located in Coventry City Centre near the Herbert Art Gallery and 200m metres from the Cathedral. The main entrance is located on the western side on Little Park Street, CV1 2LU and at what3words ///like.stage.finely. This is also where you can find the box office.
The main entrance is step-free and each performance space has step-free access.
We welcome all assistance dogs into the Garden including guide dogs and hearing dogs and our front of house team will be on hand to offer any assistance you might need.

Booking your tickets
Tickets for all shows in the Assembly Festival Garden can be booked online through this website or by telephone – 0131 623 3033. If you have any access requirements that you would like us to know in advance of your visit you can get in touch with us at gardenboxoffice@assemblyfestival.com or give us a call on 0131 623 3033.
If you wish to book a free ticket for an essential companion just get in touch and we’ll add this to your booking.
Show information
We endeavour to share warnings about the content of shows in their online listings on this website, but any additional information, such as the use of strobe lighting or loud bangs, will be displayed prominently on arrival at the venue. If you wish to know any more information about a specific show in advance of arrival such as content, trigger warnings or interactivity get in touch with us at access@assemblyfestival.com.
Accessible performances
A number of our shows will offer a BSL signed performance or relaxed performances where possible. Where these are available, they will be detailed on an individual’s show page on this site and listed here.
Toilets
Wheelchair-accessible toilets are available alongside our main toilet facilities in the north-eastern corner of the Garden and these will are clearly signposted in the Garden. In addition, there is another wheelchair-accessible toilet located in the south-western corner of the Garden next to the entrance of the Queen of Flanders spiegeltent. Our Garden team will be happy to point you in the right direction if you’re not sure where to go.
Quiet space
The Garden can be noisy at times, particularly during performances. If you are looking for a quieter space to enjoy the Garden the northeastern corner is a quieter relaxation space.
Additional support and services
We are happy to offer the following if required:
- A familiarisation tour of the venue in advance of some shows.
- Extra time to access the venue.
- The ability to skip any queues.
- Specific seating adaptations.
- Ear defenders.
- Cash payments for customers who are unable to use contactless.
We also welcome visitors who need to bring medicines and/or food and drinks to manage a medical condition or medical equipment.
